What is BluesNBrews?
The BluesNBrews Festival is a charity fundraiser sponsored by the Westford Rotary Charitable Endowment, Inc. The event features live performances by award-winning blues bands and gourmet beer tasting.
Where do proceeds go?
Beneficiaries are chosen on an annual basis. There is a list of current year beneficiaries at the bottom of our home page.
What happens if it rains?
The event is held Rain or Shine.
How many people attend this event?
We expect up to 3000 people this year.

Can those under 21 attend?
There is no age requirement to
attend; however, beverages that contain alcohol will only be available to people of legal drinking age who provide a valid photo ID.
Acceptable forms of ID are: US driver license/liquor ID or passport.
Do you have a group rate for ticket sales?

What's your policy on ticket refunds?
There are no refunds. If you purchase a ticket and then choose not to attend for some reason, please be assured your ticket fee will still go to a worthy charity.
Is there a charge for parking?
Parking for the 2009 BluesNBrews festival is FREE but space may be limited. (Please carpool!)
Can we bring blankets, chairs, coolers, etc.?
We welcome blankets!
Collapsible or folding chairs are acceptable.
COOLERS AND CONTAINERS NOT ALLOWED.
Bags and backpacks will be checked at the gate by security personnel. NO GLASS ALLOWED ON FESTIVAL GROUNDS.
Can I bring a picnic lunch?
Food & beverages may NOT be brought into the festival.* ALL BAGS & BACKPACKS WILL BE CHECKED. There will be a variety of food and beverages available on site throughout the day, including bottled water.
*Exceptions may be granted for individuals with special dietary needs. You should CONTACT US IN ADVANCE by calling 978-772-3612.
Why do you only pour into small cups?
This is a beer TASTING festival, not a drinking festival. It's like a wine tasting, only with beer. The idea is to try a variety of microbrews that you might not otherwise get a chance to try.
Do you serve drinks other than beer?
YES - we also have Water, and usually have Lemonade, Soda, Juice, Coffee, and Non-Alcoholic Beer. We MAY also have Wine and "alternative" beverages such as Hard Cider or Hard Lemonade. The beverage selection depends upon which vendors and brewers are participating.
Are there activities for kids?
Since this is not a child-oriented event, we do not provide activities or entertainment for kids. You are welcome to bring toys, coloring books and board games, as long as they do not disturb others.
What else is there to do at the festival?
There will be a variety of vendor and craft booths. We also have raffles and prize drawings.
Is there a dance floor?
There IS room for dancing on the ground next to the stage. We do not provide a dance floor.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is allowed outdoors at Nashoba Valley Ski Area. (Legal smoking materials only, of course.) Please smoke only on the edges of the crowd, away from the beer tasting tents. Please be considerate of non-smokers. If non-smokers in the vicinity are bothered by ANY smoking activity, security personnel may require you to move to a new area. A designated smoking area may be provided - if so, all smoking must be in the designated area.
Are pets allowed?
Sorry, No Pets. Assistance dogs are allowed.
What about camping?
Camping is not allowed on site.

We can always use extra help at the BluesNBrews festival! Volunteers get free admission. Please see the Volunteer page for details or call 978-772-3612.
